After our baths Magnolia and I both enjoy the calm aroma of Gentle Baby mixed with coconut oil. This essential oil blend was my first new oil purchase after having Magnolia. I feel much better having her nursing and sleeping on my chest when I know exactly what ingredients she's touching and breathing. In the past I'd lather up with a strongly synthetic scented body lotion after my shower or bath, and now I feel like it's important to be more conscious about what I'm using. We definitely aren't an all-natural-everything family, but I'd like to think we are slowly moving in that direction.
In a two oz. amber glass spray bottle I added 10-15 drops of Gentle Baby oil and then topped it with fractionated coconut oil. I also enjoy diffusing the Gentle Baby blend in the mornings as we are getting our day started.
I used Gentle Baby Coco mix on Magnolia's head a few months ago when I noticed a bit of cradle cap. It's gone now and I do believe this recipe helped!
Joy is my very favorite oil. I use it like perfume and dab a few drops on my wrists and behind my ears, also on my heart. It's such a beautiful and happy scent. Diffusing Grapefruit and Joy together is one uplifting combination.
My homemade rollerballs that I call Happy Mom are 10-15 drops each of Joy and Grapefruit and topped with the fractionated coconut oil. I keep one in my purse and another in my kitchen with all my other oils. It's a sweet pick-me-up to use throughout the day. They also make great gifts for friends and family.
The label maker is from Amazon and really fun to use!
