Fisher Price Rock 'N Play + Milk Snob Nursing Cover

We purchased the Fisher Price Rock 'N Play when we realized that Magnolia had silent acid reflux. She slept in it, next to our bed, for several weeks as the incline seemed to help with some of her symptoms. Once we got her reflux under control we moved her back to sleeping on her back in the DockATot.

The nice thing about the Rock 'N Play is that it's light weight and can easily be moved from room to room. Instead of just packing it up after she was done sleeping in it, we moved it into our main living space.

We still use it for naps and as a spot for her to lounge. It's a great place to put her when I need to pack up the car before running errands or when I'm doing chores around the house.

I got several Milk Snob Nursing Covers at my baby shower. They have the most beautiful floral patterns. I intended to use them as a nursing cover, but unfortunately Magnolia doesn't like to be enclosed while nursing and I felt like it messed up my hair. We prefer to nurse without a cover and so that is what we do! Why do we need to cover up anyway (I'll save that opinion for another day)? When she was itty bitty we used it as a car seat cover and it worked great.

I'm not crazy about Fisher Price's color schemes or patterns and I had these beautiful Milk Snob covers not being used. I decided to slip the cover over the Rock N' Play and it worked perfect. I was able to pull the straps through the opening of the cover, as you can see below.

I think this is a great way to transform a Fisher Price Rock 'N Play! I wouldn't suggest using a cover at night or if a baby would be sleeping in it unattended. There is a chance the cover could slip off or even be kicked off and it could be dangerous for the baby.

I had a few questions and messages about it over on Instagram and I wanted to share this simple little trick!

Enjoy the rest of your weekend!
