Deck the Halls...that's what we've been doing since Halloween came down!!! As soon as the first lights started twinkling it was time to start watching Christmas movies on repeat, Alexa has been playing all the jolliest songs throughout our home, hot chocolate is a daily beverage for Maggie Mermaid, & lounge clothes + fuzzy blankets + a cozy fire are a daily habit! I cannot believe Christmas morning is only 11 days away. I truly need a pause bottom for this month.
This year two little elves from The North Pole showed up in our home - Poppy Poppy & Little Girl. I started a new tradition with a white house Advent calendar. Every single morning Magnolia wakes up searching for her Elf friends and so excited to see what surprise she'll find in her Advent calendar drawer. Seeing the magic in her eyes has been the greatest gift of the season. She makes our lives absolutely magical.
I've been feeling all the creative vibes this season & cannot stop making things. I don't know what came over me but it's been so fun doing a weekly DIY, like the painted Santa Cookie Jar you'll see below, Santa Claus hand ornaments, pink + gold painted Christmas village on our dining room table, and the kitchen nook decor for our annual Gingerbread party. Decorating our home this holiday season has been the most joyful + ongoing project & I've been snapping photos along the way. I'm so happy to share a little home tour with you today!
