Living Room Christmas Tree from Joss and Main

Hello, friends!

Decorating for Christmas this year has been the most fun of all. I started the weekend after Halloween & I'm still going!!! Adding little bits of twinkle & merry to our home almost every day, because #merryeverything. I seriously considered pulling out the Christmas tree in March during the lockdown, so let's just say I've been waiting for this view for several months. In the past I've done all the decorating in one day. This year I've been slowly layering on more and more festive touches day after day, it's felt like icing a five layer rainbow cake!!!

Last year the front living room was full of boxes & empty for most of 2020! Now we have furniture & the most beautiful Christmas tree was added this past weekend. I'm a lover of real Christmas trees, but I'm not a lover of the sharp dry needles all of over our house. And you cannot start decorating right after Halloween with a real tree! I can't handle that long wait, so artificial trees are the way to my heart. I found our Nordic Spruce pre-lit tree from Joss & Main & WE ARE IN LOVE!!!! The day it arrived on our front porch I pulled it in & put it together all by myself. Three easy parts snapped together and the 750 lights were one easy plug-in per section. It's just perfect. Maggie Mermaid & I added some pearl garland, ballerinas, unicorns, pink glitter ornaments & our pink poodle topper (just like our Valentine girl)! We couldn't be happier with it. The first night it was up I literally got butterflies in my stomach as I saw it sparkling in our huge mirror.

A few BEFORE photos to show off it's beauty before we decorated it.

Maggie Mermaid picked out almost all of the ornaments --- lots of mermaids, ballerinas, and unicorns.

The TWINKLE

It's not so bad to have the winter days become dark earlier when you have this view!

Joss & Main's holiday shop is full of so much goodness. This pink garland & this ivory wool wreath are on my wish list!

Only 37 days to go my friends!!!! Up next will be a Holiday Home Tour to show you all of our festive rooms. Wishing you a season of health, happiness, hope & love!!!
