Fall Family Photos 2020

Hey, friends, and Happy FRIDAY!!!!! I'm extra excited about this weekend because we are putting up our Christmas trees & adding a new one to the front room. Christmas is only 49 days away & we are going to soak up every last drop of magic & merry! Yesterday I picked up some Opalhouse festive red pillows from Target and they really pop on our new ivory sofa. I feel like it has transformed the entire room already and we haven't even added the twinkling tree yet. 

In the midwest, all of the trees are bright orange and golden yellow & the weather is absolutely perfect. Fall in Kansas City is always a work of art. We did family photos a few weeks ago, and today I'm sharing some of our favorites with you. I shared on Instagram a few peeks already & talked about how awful the wind was the day we took these. My dress was literally suction cupped to my body & my good hair day went to crap pretty fast. And then our poor Maggie Mermaid got caught up in a thorn bush and got a scratch that wrapped around her entire little leg. She was understandably pouting the entire shoot. It certainly didn't go as I had dreamed it would, but we still got some special keepsakes. 

My dress is from Vici Collection. It's currently sold out, but I would highly suggest their dresses for photoshoots. They have a beautiful collection. 
Magnolia's dress if from Think Pink Bows & I just discovered them when I was hunting for something for this family photoshoot. They have a lot of adorable stuff, I got a few extra dresses for the holiday season.
