Mondays are the days that Magnolia & I usually stay home all day, and it feels like Monday everyday now. We are somewhat used to this lifestyle so it's not a huge change for us, but we are definitely starting to feel a little antsy. Today was supposed to be music class for us & we are missing our teacher & friends. My sisters & I are taking home isolation very seriously & we are staying away from one another. I miss them & my mom! Magnolia keeps asking about her grandma and aunts and cousins and it's sad. She has no idea what is going on, which is a blessing.
On a happy note, this is Magnolia singing her lungs out to Taylor Swift. At the end of the post I'll share some of the fun things I've found for us to do at home.
My small business owner sister, is working on a new spring collection for her shop Little Lucca Love. Magnolia is the hip popping sassy model for LLL & she modeled some of the clothes this week. All the spring fabric will make your heart happy!
Maggie is wearing the Maggie shoes from PediPed. She's worn their shoes since she was a baby & they are hands-down the best quality shoes she owns.
The Barbara Leopard print shoes have a purple glitter sole! Adorable!!!
On St. Patrick's Day our neighborhood placed shamrocks in the windows of our homes so that the kids could practice social distancing while hunting for lucky shamrocks. It was such a cute & fun idea we are doing it for Easter now. St. Patty's Day is also my grandma's Heavenly birthday. We listened to Irish music throughout the day & we had a cupcake with a candle & sang her Happy Birthday.
Life at home right now looks like a lot of baking, dancing + singing, painting, cleaning, & movie watching.
Yesterday the weather finally warmed up enough that we were able to get outside & breathe in the fresh air. Hearing the birds sing, with little signs of spring, was exactly what we needed after being inside since Sunday. Magnolia was ecstatic to get out of the house. I had the back door wide open & we just let the breeze blow through the whole house.Today we took Valentine & Magnolia's baby doll for a walk. I think life right now is teaching us all how to really appreciate the small things in life. A walk with our loved ones is quite special. I read somewhere if you feel stressed out, look into your dog's eyes for ten seconds and you're body will naturally release endorphins. Give it a whirl!

Story Time From Space, my mom sent me this, and it's so fun for the little ones. Astronauts read books from outer space.

Hallmark is bringing back Christmas movies to help with self quarantine, kind of funny because I thought about putting up my Christmas tree this afternoon. I guess I'm not going crazy after all!
If you want to workout at home, here is a great list of all the best ideas.
As many of you know, we would love to have another baby, and during this sad time we have to think about whether this is a good time. It is definitely weighing heavy on our hearts. If you are in the same boat as us, this article written by a reproductive psychologist helps with all the uncertainties and things to think about.
Since Ryan & I will be hanging out at home every single weekend for a while, this list of 36 questions for closeness will be added to our weekend agenda at the kitchen table. Maybe with a glass of wine!
Sending all the love out into the world! Keep praying, friends.
xoxo
