Music, Snow & Cousin Sleepover

Happy Monday, dear friends! One week to go until our Kansas City Chiefs are in the Super Bowl & even more exciting (for the mommy in me) Magnolia's third unicorn princess birthday party!!! I cannot believe my baby is almost three years old. She picked her birthday theme & calls it "ono-corn!" and it melts me. We have two big gifts planned for her & I cannot wait to see the surprise in her eyes. She's getting a dollhouse from us & my sisters + parents went in on a group gift for her. A car!!! A ride-on remote control car, all my mom's idea, and she is going to flip out when she opens it. We are doing a treasure hunt + face painting & jewels and I'm making a layered chocolate chip cookie cake + cupcakes. And balloons, tons and tons of balloons! The weather is going to be gorgeous & I really want to rent a unicorn, but we've already got so much planned I don't think we will have time.

This past week we started back at Kindermusik & my mom went to our first class with us. It was extra fun to have her join us & for Magnolia to show her how the class goes. She's been attending since she was six months old & it's crazy cool to see how much she has developed & learned over the years. We've had the same teacher for every class & we just adore her.

Big hugs for her Valentine before we left!

The snow fell on Friday & Magnolia made an itty-bitty colorful snowman that she named "Two!" She names everything "Two," all of her baby dolls, all of her stuffed furry friends, and she even said when she gets a baby brother or sister someday we should name it that as well.

My niece Adalyn spent the whole entire weekend with us & we are already missing her so much. Magnolia looks up to her like a big sister & they always play so well together despite the six year age gap. When we go places together people always assume they are sisters.

Saturday morning we made cinnamon rolls & I let the girls do the decorating! Sprinkles for days...

They played school, we had dance parties, their dolls were always within arms reach & they made the sweetest watercolor paintings. Watching them daydream & create is magic.

On Saturday afternoon we took a trip to the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art. Addy had never been before & with every turn to a new room she was excited to see what she'd find. If you're from Kansas City or visiting, keep in mind it's free admission. There is a fee for parking & special exhibits, but free to walk around the gigantic museum.

Valentine loves having Addy stay over as much as Magnolia does.

Sunday we made Valentine Heart Hugging Teddy Grahams. I've had this idea pinned on Pinterest for over five years & we finally did it. It's the perfect little project for an easy Sunday morning. All you need are Teddy Grahams, icing & Conversation Hearts.

It's a great project for all age groups, Magnolia even got the hang of it and did all the green ones! She also ate a whole mini-latte bowl of icing!!!

Thanks for stopping by & reading! xo
