The cheetah was a total show off & got as close to the kids as she could possibly get. It was quite the treat to be that up close & personal with such a beautiful creature!
I can hardly believe that is my baby girl insisting to hold hands with the big girls. Time is a thief!
Before we headed home we stopped to watch the seal splash show. Magnolia was a brave girl that wanted to be on the front row with her cousins. All was fine & dandy until the seals started barking. She burst into tears & was on my lap for the remainder of the show! As we were walking to the car she excitedly pointed to the carousels & we couldn't leave without taking our tired babies for a ride on the merry-go-round. Other than the bee that was flying around our heads, it was a good time! My sister & I are positive our children will have an irrational fear of bugs just like us.
Magnolia was crashed out in her carseat before I even got out of the zoo parking lot!
Five more things we are looking forward to this summer:
1. Trips to Deana Rose Children's Farmstead with her cousins
2. Lots & lots of days at the pool & in the backyard sprinkler
3. Another trip to the beach (& her cousins are going with this time - YIPPEE!!!)
4. Breakfast & dinner on our back deck
5. Evening walks on the trails by our house
I hope you all are enjoying the rest of our spring days & looking forward to the summer days just around the corner!
xoxo
