Wishing You a Hoppy Easter

From the bottom of our hearts we want to say Thank You for all the kindest messages, phone calls, emails, texts, & comments about our angel baby. The prayers mean the world to us & we cannot even begin to say how much we appreciate them.

As I look back on Magnolia's first Easter I'm reminiscing about the year before when we found out her life had began in a little petri dish. She is our golden egg!

A few weeks ago we had her Easter photos taken with a real life bunny & baby ducklings. Her reaction to the bunny when it started to move was funny (like an OH CRAP kind of funny). She was quite startled by the furry creature that she didn't know was actually alive. For a moment there were tears, but she soon became brave enough to allow it in her presence long enough for a few photos to be taken.

This is my favorite photo from the day because it's almost like she's saying "Hey Mom & Dad! Do you see this thing? Are you sure about this? It MOVES!!! My bunny does NOT move like this!"

The baby ducklings were okay with her until they decided to go up her dress! She was not okay with that.

This little girl is already playing with all the Easter eggs we have around the house & she is a chocolate lover just like her mama! We've shared one too many Kit Kats this past week.

Kansas City is expecting snow, YES SNOW, this Easter weekend. We will be spending family time inside & I've found a few fun activities for us to do. This PEEPS Play Dough is even edible so I'm adding all the ingredients to my weekend grocery shopping list. Obviously an indoor Easter Egg Hunt is on the agenda & it wouldn't be Easter without pink bunny pancakes! We have an Easter service picked out that we plan to watch together on the sofa with a big cup of coffee Sunday morning.

We'd like to wish you an Easter weekend full of blessings from above, the love & laughter of family, and cute little bunnies! Oh & lots of chocolate too.

Love xo
