Magnolia's Frozen Fourth Birthday Party

MAGNOLIA CAROLINE IS FOUR YEARS OLD!!! How can it be!?! I feel like I've known her FOREVER, but I also feel as though it was just yesterday she was an itty-bitty baby.

She requested a Frozen themed party & for the weeks leading up to her celebration I did all I could to transform our home into a magical Arendelle castle! We added all the light blues & lavenders along with pinches of pink & of course lots & lots of iridescent for the most sparkle we could get. She really wanted Elsa to come to her party, but I wasn't sure if we could make it happen with COVID and all. Every time she asked I said "I'm not sure if she can make it, I think she might be stuck in the castle." As we got closer to her birthday party we felt more comfortable with the idea & decided to make it happen, BUT we decided to keep it a SURPRISE. Her face when Elsa showed up to the front door is a moment I will cherish forever. I was washed over with an enormous amount of joy & I just could not hold in the tears. I was not expecting to feel that way, but WOW!!! Seeing her little four year old dreams come true was like nothing I'd ever seen before, the sparkle in her eyes definitely surpassed Christmas morning excitement. Thankfully Ryan caught it on video & Mags and I have been watching it over & over again. I've made it my 2021 goal to learn how to edit videos because we have so many special clips from the day that I need to consolidate and make into a movie. Elsa had the most breathtaking voice & sang her "Show Yourself" and Magnolia joined in on the singing. And again, I was washed over with tears. My mom & sister were crying too and it was such a happy & magical & special day!!!

Mags and I did our usual Trader Joe's trip the Thursday before and picked up fresh flowers to put around the house. I let her pick out the snacks and it was all sweet stuff! We did chocolate covered strawberries and no matter how many I make it's never enough. Always a big hit with the family.

We did take-and-bake cookies from my brother's restaurant. The sprinkles were perfect for her Frozen party!

We had fresh flowers all over & they are the happiest touch for a February birthday.

Frozen nails for our birthday girl.

When it comes to BIRTHDAYS & flowers + balloons + candles, I say the more the merrier! Before any celebration we always get ready about 30 minutes before the guests arrive so we can snap keepsake photos. This year we lit hundreds of candles - always an exciting thing for a little girl (and adults too, truthfully) - snapped a bunch of sweet photos & then we sang her happy birthday. She makes our lives magical every single day & I hope on days like her birthday she can get a little feeling of the magic she gives us.

Best Uncle Award goes to my baby brother. He asked to do her Frozen cake & was so excited about the creative process. He did such a beautiful job & it was delicious too.

The absolute best daddy right here! Mag's just adores him & no one can get her belly laughing like him.

My mom & Magnolia have a very special bond. They are very goofy together & always laughing. I love the blessing of their relationship. Every time she comes over Mags will run to the front door screaming "GRANDMA GRANDMA!"

Mags and Addy, she calls her "my Addy!" These two are twinkies. If you compare photos of them at the same age it's hard to tell the difference between the two.

We are so happy Uncle Joey was able to celebrate with us!

She brought the MAGIC!!!

Aunt Hay Hay, Uncle Gene, Lucca Lou & Addy
I tried to get a photo of everyone but still missed some, darn it.

Party Animals

My world in a photo right here, so blessed to be Ryan's wife & Magnolia's mommy. I thank the Lord above everyday for the blessing of them.

Our house is still decorated with all the balloons and flowers & we are going to enjoy the festive touches as long as we can! I snapped this photo right before ballet class this week.

When the sun is shining bright it literally makes the entire living room sparkle & shimmer.

After her party Magnolia & her grateful heart told us several times that it was the BEST DAY EVER. She said how happy every little detail made her. She said "mommy, I told you Elsa would come!" I asked her how she knew and she said "I just knew she would make it!" She is our dream come true & I'm really happy Elsa was able to get out of the castle for her special day & bring her little girl princess dreams to life!

I know all the four year old little girls want a Frozen party so I'm linking most of the products below. If you have questions about anything not linked below please ask. The ceramic iridescent Olaf was from Hallmark, but sold out now. If you are the in the Kansas City area Elsa is from Upon A Dream & she was beyond amazing. The birthday cake made by my brother is from The Market at Meadowbrook & I highly suggest lunch there too!!! It's so freakin' good, I wish it was closer so we could go every week.

Thank you for all the birthday love! xoxo
