Magnolia had a very special weekend. It all started Friday with an afternoon splish-splashing & playing mermaids at the pool with her cousins. Saturday morning we had her inside watching a movie while we had her custom painted playhouse delivered for one huge SURPRISE. And then Sunday she got to meet a real life unicorn! I'm positive it's a weekend she'll remember forever.
This playhouse is by Backyard Discovery it's the Aspen version & absolutely charming. Magnolia loves to match me in all that I do and she's wanted a playhouse forever. What little girl, doesn't? And now she has a little house to match her mommy. This house was painted by the sweetest Kansas City gal to match our house. Colors by Benjamin Moore in Simply White & Springy Peach. Our Victorian house exterior paint is just about finished & this is pretty much what it'll look like! If I lived in Charleston, NOLA, or San Fran, let me tell you it would be all pink. I had to control myself and only do a pinch of pink for our Kansas City neighborhood that would surely kick us out of the HOA if we did something so crazy.
I have the sweetest little video that Ryan captured when she got to have her own HGTV style home reveal. On Saturday she played in it for about six hours straight. She had her first visitor already - her cousin Addy came over to see it & play for several hours. Also, her puppy Capri got to spend some time in the new place.
The house number "299" is special for our girl. As soon as she started talking she used to randomly say the numbers 2-9-9. She still does it from time to time. I have no idea what it means, but it's something to her! We always thought it was so bizarre & cute too.
Next up is decorating the inside & we found the cutest mermaid + unicorn decor to put inside this precious little place.
