Bye-Bye Summer

Happy fall, friends!

Here we are on day #2 of fall & I realized I still have a bunch of summertime photos I have to share. My sisters are really good about printing their family photos & I am not. I always say my blog is my place to document and keep safe our memories. Thank you for following along. I promise it'll be everything pumpkin, mums, & fuzzy sweaters from here on out!

Sorry for being late with this post, but if you follow me on Instagram or friends with me on Facebook then you may have heard we put our house on the market. That's my excuse for falling behind on the blog. I want to share every single detail of our next house, but I'm going to wait. The process of finding, loving, & getting a contract on our next house has involved some waiting & now we have more waiting to do as we hope & pray our home sells soon. I cannot wait to share more details about it when the time is right. I will say one thing about the house we are buying --- it looks like it belongs on the streets of Charleston. And that is why we were willing to throw our house building plans out the window!

We are going to miss our leopard print stairs when we move! Among several other things, like the Magnolia tree in the front yard we planted the Mother's Day before our IVF transfer.

Kansas City friends you have to try 1889 Pizza! The pizza was as good as the decor.

Isn't this how everyone eats pizza!?

Pool days were the best days! Magnolia is still screaming POOL from the backseat when we drive by ours.

Going to Aunt Hay Hay's house ties with the pool as her favorite place to go. May all of her wishes come true!

We went to Prairie Fire Museum a few times this summer & she now has an adorable obsession with dinosaurs. Equal amount fear & love for them.

The summer day we saw Lion King at the theatre.

She sat quietly in her seat for approximately 3 minutes & thankfully we had the entire row to ourselves because she ran it the whole time until we called it quits and left early.

Already hangin' at the coffee shops!

Always grateful she can shop all day long!

Our happy girl! Clothing with pockets will excite her beautiful soul! I love to find the little random treasures she'll hide away in them. I currently have pockets in my closet stuffed with the most random items & it's always a smile inducing treat to see what I'll find.

Fresh flowers always.

Hydrangea snow balls from our yard. I know I'm getting older because I'm in love with the idea of having a huge cutting garden in my backyard.

My heart & soul. Thank you God!

Well, that's the conclusion of summer 2019! It was a good one. I'll be working on our fall bucket list & trying to keep our house spotless for all the showings that we are grateful to have.

Wishing you the best start to fall!
