Our Christmas Tree

On Saturday we put up our fake Christmas tree because there just aren't enough days to celebrate the most beautiful time of the year! Leading up to this weekend & after much debate, Ryan & I agreed we needed to do a fake tree this year. We absolutely LOVED going to the Christmas tree farm with Magnolia last year to pick out our blue spruce tree. We decided it'd be our tradition to go to the Christmas tree farm every year on the day after Thanksgiving to get our tree. And then our baby became a curious toddler & we added a puppy to the family. I knew that one of them (or both) would get hurt with a needle before the season was over. And I really did not want to vacuum nine times a day every single day, and trust me, it would have been necessary!

I started the hunt for the most real looking fake tree I could find & I'm madly in love with the one I finally found on Amazon. It looks real! I've had so many people message to ask where it's from & it was out of stock all weekend long. Today it's available again!!! If you want it you better hurry because I have a feeling it'll be sold out again soon.

My little sugar plum fairy helped me hang every single ornament. Ryan put the hook on each one & then she brought it over to me so we could find the best spot for it on our tree! Notice the ornament in Valentine's mouth in the photo below. They were both such great helpers!!!

I wonder if Magnolia will remember this Christmas season. My hope & dream is to fill her days with warm memories & family traditions of this festive season, so that this time of year will always feel magical in her heart! Today the snow if falling for the second time in the past week & we're cuddled up inside doing the ordinary. I'm washing the bed linens, with dinner in the crock pot, & she's dancing around the house to Christmas tunes on Alexa. The twinkling Christmas lights & the cinnamon + fir candle make this ordinary day sparkle with magic!!!

Is it just me or does coffee taste even better on cold snowy days by the twinkling tree?

I've linked our Christmas decor below.

Wishing you a magical & cozy week!!! xo
