The Zen Sack by Nested Bean

Before I had Magnolia I intended to use our adorable muslin blankets to swaddle her at night. Little did I know she'd hate to be swaddled and just wrapping her up would become a huge challenge. We went through a stage, a sleepless stage, when I gave up on swaddling because she would fight so hard to be loose. After talking to her pediatrician I decided to give it another try. I'm so happy I did. I ended up ordering the Halo Sleep Sack and it really helped her sleep better at night. I knew once she started to roll over that we'd have to transition yet again.

Just this week little Miss Magnolia started rolling over. Every single time I put her on her play gym she rolls over, and I can see her already popping that butt up in the air like she's ready to crawl! Time is flying by so fast it's crazy. For safety reasons it's time to get her to sleep with her arms out.

At night when I put her in her bassinet I will put my hand on her chest until I can tell that she is in a nice deep sleep. I love to feel her heart beating in the palm of my hand. Every night I look at her as I'm doing this and I say a prayer to thank God for her.

We are going to transition out of the Halo Sack and into the Nested Bean Zen Sack. What I love about the Zen Sack is that it mimics my touch. It simulates the pressure of my hand on her chest with a lightly weighted pad and plush upper panel. Isn't that the coolest idea?

Magnolia usually wakes up once or twice in the middle of the night to nurse and I always change her diaper. The Zen Sack has a two-way zipper so that I can easily change her without having to take her out of the sack.

We just had Magnolia's four month check-up and she's already 25 inches long. She's been in the 85-75 percentile for height since she was born. The great thing about the Zen Sack is that the shoulders have adjustable tabs so that she doesn't grow out of it as fast.

It is toxin free and hip healthy which is clearly important. They exceed US and International safety standards.

Here she is rolling over in her crib and why we are making the transition!
